Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 US release despite UK problems
If you are the owner of a certain Samsung smartphone and have recently installed a new system update to your device you will be aware of the many bugs it contains, but now the Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update US release continues despite the UK problems.Soon after the software was released reports started to come in of many issues affecting those unfortunate enough to have installed it. Eventually Samsung pulled the update for the international version of the device along with some carrier versions. We also saw some news surrounding the same update for the Galaxy S4 with carriers stating it had been pulled by Samsung, but now the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S3 is continuing in the US as we first heard of T-Mobile pushing out the new firmware.Since then both AT&T and Sprint have released the software for the smartphone but it seems as if there is still problems affecting some users. We have had reports from one AT&T customer that is complaining of problems with the Wi-Fi connection of his device, and wishes that the software was never downloaded.US Cellular has also started the process of updating the Galaxy S3 to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but it makes you wonder why so many users in other regions have been affected by the serious problems that have hit the firmware. This has included the unlocked version of the device which has not been altered by any carrier bloatware being added to the operating system. Many that have been hit with the problems now have an almost unusable smartphone with issues such as serious lag, poor battery life, phone completely freezing, poor Wi-Fi connections, and being unable to answer calls. The device is eventually set to be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat but the way this new update is going this could be a while yet. If you are in the US and have successfully downloaded the new operating system let us know how the Galaxy S3 is performing for you with Android 4.3 on board.via Phones Review http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2013/11/23/galaxy-s3-android-4-3-us-release-despite-uk-problems/

If you love Rockstar games, especially Grand Theft Auto ones, then this will be what you have been waiting for. GTA San Andreas apps for mobile will be releasing soon 10 years after it released.Rockstar normally pushes out the GTA games to mobile 10 years after the original was released; it is all part of its mobile versions of the Grand Theft Auto series as “10th Anniversary” editions.GTA 3 was released 10 years after the 2001 original, and then came GTA Vice City, which came to mobile 10 years later in 2002, but now Rockstar have said that GTA San Andreas will be releasing soon. This is a bit of a shock really considering this game was released in 2004, which means it should release on mobile platforms in 2014 and not soon. The new Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mobile app will be releasing on Android, iOS and Windows Phone next month, this is great because its coming to the three main platforms.Rockstar have said this will be the best looking version of San Andreas yet, the apps will feature full support for controllers using iOS 7's controller support and on-screen controls are going to be improved with new contextually visible controls. Are you looking forward to the new GTA San Andreas mobile app, if so please let us know what platform you will be installing it on? via Phones Review http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2013/11/27/gta-san-andreas-mobile-app-release-shock-happiness/

MediaTek 4G capable chipset smartphones for 2014 India release
MediaTek is about to announce its new plans for smartphones and India; they are getting ready its 4G capable chipsets so that they can help grow 4G smartphones sales in India.MediaTek are very well known chip makers and they are now assisting to release 4G enabled processors from 2014, Finbarr Moynihan, General Manager, International Sales and Marketing at MediaTek had a meeting with Light Reading recently and the interview was rather interesting. In the interview Moynihan said that they are expecting the next year to be critical, he went on to say that India is an exciting 4G market, he also said “We are working with various handset manufacturers in the country and you will see our partners launching quality 4G devices at competitive prices in 2014.”We are guessing the MediaTek has already had talks with major vendors and the likes of Micromax and Xolo are already prepping 4G LTE enabled smartphones, which should be launching at the end of 2014. The executive also mentioned a few other names such as Spice, Intex and Lava. The chip makers have already introduced true octa-core chipsets, which apparently deliver real 8-core experience on smartphones. The Intex i17 hopefully to release in January 2014 and is set to launch with the MT6592 chip.via Phones Review http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2013/11/27/mediatek-4g-capable-chipset-smartphones-for-2014-india-release/
